Every surf lesson is 2h long and it includes the necessary equipment such us surfboard, leash, wetsuit and reef boots, also the insurance in case of any accident. The lesson consists of two parts: theory and practice.

1. Theory

Theoretical part of surfing lesson is important for for understanding the basics of the sport but also for both – the instructor and the child to break the first ice. If you child is shy this is the time to get to know each other and make a bound with the instructor. It will be very important for the time in the water, where the student has to listen to the instructor. After breaking the boundaries there is the time for explanation of the most important parts: pop up, posture and safety rules in the water and unwritten surfing etiquette.

As we all know the most important for children is to have fun and enjoy the lesson to the fullest! That’s why our theory part is always adapted to the age and personality of our little students to make the experience even more fun.

2. Practice in the water

After theory it’s time for the real fun to begin! Time in the water is what everyone is looking for the most. Here the same, we adapt the experience to necessities of your child. With the youngest we always go on the same board. This special technique allows us to have a full control of what is happening and teach kids in the best way possible. The practice in the water is more less 1.5h but if your child decide it’s too long there is no problem in going out of the water before the time or making a little break on the coast.

After the first surfing lesson

Surfing can be challenging, even for kids. Teach your child the value of patience and perseverance.
