Where do surf lessons take place?

We do our surf courses in the south of the island. Most of surf lessons take place in Playa de Las Americas. Here is our main base where we do keep surf material and by the walking distance from Parque Santiago II we change surf spots according to your level and waves condition.

When and how can I do the booking?

Tenerife is a volcanic island, and most of the surf spots we work on have a rock bottom. Also each surf spot works with different sea tide and we always want to assure you the best conditions for surfing. This is the reason why we depend a lot on sea tides and we do exact timetable of the lessons for only 6 days upfront.

So the best option is to reach us out filling in the contact form or directly by phone or WhatsApp when you decide you are interested in taking one of our surf courses. We will make a small research about you and your surf experience so we will know what conditions and location suits your level the best and make a note in our calendar about specific dates you are interested in. The next step is to make a reservation by making payment. After that when we got your spots reserved, we will contact with you as soon as we will have timetable for your lesson.

How long is the lesson?

Each lesson, no matter what type you will choose, is 2 hours long. It consists of two parts: theory and practice. Depending on your surfing level the length of each part can be varied but always the practice in the water is way much longer than theoretical part.

In what language are surf lessons?

All of our lessons, no matter what type you will choose are always in Spanish and English. If you wish to have a lesson in other language contact with us and we will see what we can do for you.

What do I need to bring with me?

Remember to bring towel for changing and getting dry after the session, bikini/swim shorts to put under the wetsuit and face sunscreen as, here in Tenerife, the sun is really strong all year around. We also recommend to have some water with you as you can get thirsty easily.

What is the age limit?

Remember the age is just a number! We do not have any specific age limits although there is some rules we keep as a safety reasons: surfing is an extreme sport so swimming ability is an essential. The group surf lessons are dedicated mostly for adults or teenagers 15+. Our best advise for kids are alway private lessons or, depending on age and preferences, family groups. What could be better than starting surfing adventure with the whole family together?!

Can I just rent a surf equipment?

Our surfing courses, no matter the type, always includes wetsuit, reef boots if needed, softboard and the insurance in case of accident during the course. If you wish to rent only surf equipment (without the surfing lesson with the instructor) please contact us.
